America’s SBDC Washington
The Washington Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a network of more than 35 expert business advisors working in communities across the state to help entrepreneurs or small business owners start, grow or buy/sell a business.
SBDC advisors provide one-on-one, confidential, no-cost advising on all phases of small business development and are often co-located with economic development specialists in community colleges, economic development agencies or government agencies. Other services of the Washington SBDC include no-cost or low-cost workshops on a variety of business topics and customized market research services.
OMWBE Academy
The OMWBE Academy was developed to help certified business navigate the complex world of government contracting. Courses focus on common barriers businesses face in the capacity building and bidding process. The OMWBE Academy presents step - by - step learning modules to support real world results that benefit certified firms. Learning Modules include topics such a bonding, indirect rates, and understanding the bidding process.

Washington APEX Accelerator
APEX Accelerator, formerly Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), advises businesses on how to win government contracts and subcontracts. The one-on-one technical assistance includes bid reviews, marketing assistance, contract performance, small business certifications, and more. APEX Accelerators and PTACs also hosts procurement training classes and seminars, and helps businesses register with the correct databases in order to compete for government contracts.
Washington APEX Accelerator assists businesses through the government-contracting marketplace. Washington APEX Accelerator’s mission is to increase the number of government contracts awarded to Washington firms so that those firms can grow. We provide no cost, confidential, one-on-one technical assistance in all aspects of selling to federal, state, and local governments.
